My dad is a big fan and he was yelling at you all night to throw us a ball.
Finally after that great double play, he sent me to the railing and I yelled (just like my dad) "PAULIE!!!" and you looked at me and flipped me the ball. I reached out and I caught it and it just made my day!

Even though my grampy is an A's fan, I think I just might root for the White Sox from now on! Maybe some day I can get you to sign it for me.

Thanks!
Alina

Man, if I could just somehow hit a Home Run that would really count in Shoota's Scorebook... (http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0RgAlA!oTSqGy9EaOxViZQ91PsPmULJ*dn7U8302Ev3hj*tE7v izBZckdxrLmVTAsCEyMSKZtIna5GOQtYfOQLjLKGXy0yIXdY6y 3nuEXl5k/445_4596.JPG?dc=4675529169199865648)

I couldn't resist, West.

Hope you and Ode bring some more of that good karma tomorrow.

Did you notice that we repaid the A's for breaking our 8-game winning streak on the last trip out? Cool, eh!

Hope you and Ode bring some more of that good karma tomorrow. We can't take the credit. Ode and I have been more hex than anything. Even Mrs. Ode has seen some horrors in Oakland. Tonight we took Ode's mother, who was in town visiting, to the game. I think she put the Sox over the top. :D:

Great story and good for you! :bandance: You better root for the Sox for now on.

I love the photo of Raines and Widger. Widger's story is the kinda stuff that movies are made of.

No, that homer didn't count because it was too late in the game, and he'd had 3 ABs already, which means he had had a chance to get his swing tuned. His RBI single in the 2nd inning also didn't count because it was too early in the game and they tied it up later.:D:

This could be the most positive and funniest PK post of the year. Sounds like you had one helluva fun time out there at Network (cough) McAfee Stadium. Hopefully the Sox can have a fun time today too, and FINALLY take two out of three from those blasted A's.
