If the Sox go all the way this year, I hope to see Ozzie in a commercial saying " Hey Magg$, I'm going to @&*$#!* Disney World" :D:

When some posters start threads on what the Sox need for the play-offs it is considerred premature to be thinking about it. While I think it is fine to be thinking about what roster moves make the most sense in preparation for the post-season, I'm not ready to get excited about cereal boxes. Remember: The last three World Champions are teams that failed to win their division. Having the best record in the regular season means nothing on October 3, other than the fact that you get to keep playing. Who's pitching will be healthy and hot in October? I hope it is ours.

I haven't seen a pro sports team ever on the cover of a Wheaties box.

I think it's happened. Didn't the Bulls get one in the early 90s?

I think that was just Jordan, usually if it is a team on a wheaties box it is something to do with the olympics. though to be honest, it's been years since I've paid attention to a wheaties box, never really cared for the cereal.

I'm waiting for someone to use some photoshop and make a White Sox one right now.

But talk about getting ahead of ourselves, wozzers.

ok we get the point, if they win they have a decent chance of making a cereal box. Though frankly who cares about a cereal box

The last time that I know off for a Sox player to appear on a Wheaties box was Joe Horlen right after his no-hitter in 1967.
