hey, when I was watching the cubs sox game on saturday, they showed a fan holding up a sign that just said Lucky 81, after they showed it DJ laughed and said " it's a little early to be talking about that", I was just wondering what the sign meant

He meant the Sox' magic number. Actually, he was wrong. It was 80 on Saturday, IIRC. And yes, it is too early to talk about it.
