Birmingham won 9-5 as every Baron had a hit except Owens and every one scored a run except Lopez. C. Young was 1-3 with a homer (17) and 2 bb's including one with the bases juiced. Fields was 2-3 with 2 doubles and Rogo was 3-5 to raise his average to .330

Great Falls won 19-1. (They've been on the losing end of a couple of these lately, so it must have felt nice.) Brandon Allen is on fire 3-3 2 doubles a triple 3 runs scored 2 rbi. He raised his average to a robust .448 with a .500+ OBP and a .700+ slugging percentage.

Francisco Hernandez has responded to dropping a level from Kanny. He went 2-3 with a double and 2rbi's and in three games is hitting .600. Plenty of non-prospect hitting stars as well (Daron Roberts 5-6; Brandon Johnson 4-6 with a homer). Paul Moviel got the win. (6IP 2H 1R 1ER 1BB 5K)

Charlotte's been hitting really well lately. (Even Borch was 2-4, HR, 3 RBI!) Too bad their starting pitching still blows.

B'ham got a rough start from Phillips, but they'll win plenty of games as long as Owens and Gonzo are getting on base, and Rogo, Young, and Fields are driving them in. Nice work from the pen, too (4 shutout IP).

A couple of Kanny Notes:
- Getz took Berry's starting spot at 2B . . . at least for this game.
- Russell's line: 5.2 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 5 BB, 5 K.

Heath was the victim of a really talented hitter in Delmon Young. Young also hit one of Reynoso that was headed over the wall and Blakely reached over the billboard took it away. Pollok was outstanding in 2 IP no hits struck out the side in the 7th.
