The Chicago White Sox have claimed left-handed pitcher Ryan Wing off waivers from the Texas Rangers and optioned him to Class A Winston-Salem. . . . Wing, who was selected by Chicago in the second round of the June 2001 Free Agent Draft, was claimed off waivers from the White Sox by Texas on October 7, 2004. The White Sox 40-man roster now stands at 40.

Today, the Sox claimed pitcher Ryan Wing off waivers from the Texas Rangers and optioned him to Winston-Salem of the Carolina League (A). This is the reciprocal or the earlier transaction when Texas pinched him off waivers from the us.

Now all the Sox have to do is re-sign Danny Wright and I can resume my vast Wright-Wing conspiracy theories.
