Frank (Son of) Viola got the start for Bristol tonight. 0-0 after five. 5 innings pitched 1 hit 1 walk 8 punchouts. This after he not look so good in his first start.

Hey, have the Sox converted Brice back to being a pitcher? (He pitched in junior college.) I thought he was a borderline OF prospect, but not hopeless. That kind of surprises me.

Charlotte won 4-2, Munoz with 8.0IP, 2ER, 6K, 6H for the win (2-9, 3.94). Bajenaru got his 9th save, tossing a scorless ninth with 2K (1.27). Anderson 2/3 2R, 1 2B, 1BB .287...Toca with a game-winning 3-Run home run in the 9th, 1/4 .295.

Haeger (2-0, 3.75) coasted to a 16-4 win. :D: He allowed just 1 run in 7 innings.

Owens: 3-5, 3 R, 2B, 2 RBI, BB, .313
Rogo: 3-3, 2 R, 2B, 3 RBI, .325
Young: 3-4, 2 R, 2 2B(29), RBI, .254
Blakely: 2-5, 2 R, 2B, HR(12). 4 RBI

Yes. His recent performances have been mentioned in a couple of game threads.

Every time I check maurices minor league reports, I see Brian Anderson is 2-3 or 2-4. I can't believe he is only hitting .287.

That's 'cause I don't report when he goes 0-4. :D:

He fell into an extended funk that saw his AVE drop from the .300s to the .270s. He's been tearing it up recently.
