I would have to vote for the very attractive young lady on Friday.
The Sox were well on their way to a Romp, when I decided to have a cool
refreshment at one of the RF concourse beer stands. I noticed a commotion
going on, with a bunch of SOX fans encircled around someone. As I got
closer, I noticed the SOX fans were laughing and hurling insults at the aforementioned cub-clad young lady. She was yelling back at the SOX
fans and waving and displaying very proudly, one of those small souvenir
hand-towels that you see from time to time. She was saying thats ok
were winning, but we still (Stink) because the Cubs won a championship
already before us ............ then waving the towel around. Sox fans
were laughing and chanting MARLINS MARLINS, and HONEY, GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT. She was defiant for some crazy reason (and she was drunk too also), and reminded everyone that cub fans partied in the streets for a couple days, so how could we not realize they were champs.

The towel in question?

Saturday: The Guy in the Cubs Jersey running arround selling water bottles out of his Gym Bag in the RF seats... Security busted him after he handed the person the two bottles he intended to sell them and he never got the cash... I don't know why the guy thought he could get away with it!

I have to go with the young lady sitting directly behind us in Section 155. She was constantly complaining that the game was boring and nothing was going on. She obviously didn't appreciate good baseball and the fact that 2 perfect games were taken into the fourth.

She needed a one-way ticket back to Murphy's, where she belonged.

A group of cub fans, about 4 guys and 4 gals on Friday. Derrek Lee
had just grounded out, and the place cheered for the out. One girl
says "I didnt know Carlos Lee was on our team, when did we get him?"

The dumbest Cub fan this weekend? I'm sure it was a 15,000-way tie.

Friday: After Pods was picked off in the 1st while Iguchi was still at the plate, some girl decked out in Cubs gear seated behind us screamed "Hit into a double!"

Dumbest Cub "fan"? That's an awfully redundant statement.

And in what alternate universe did the "towel tart" get a souvenir celebrating a non-existant championship?

Haha, I agree!

There were plenty of the "So what Derrek Lee is ___!!!" Great. The Win column doesn't reflect that.

And one guy was saying that the N.L. Central was the best division in baseball because it has the most wins. Well, it has the most teams, chief, 4 of which are below .500, and the almighty Cubbies 2 games over.

There were a couple very bored girls in my row; they knew nothing about baseball and had trouble clapping for the appropriate team. The guy with them finally told them "Clap when I clap; that way you'll know the Cubbies did something good".

Oh, and speaking of Derrick Lee: On the scoreboard they had something about Lee's time on the Marlins in 2003 (I've forgotten exactly what the stat was).... When I saw that, I stood up and pointed at the scoreboard, and turned to some nearby Cub fans, and exclaimed "Oh my God, Lee was on the World Series Champion Marlins!!". They didn't say anything but gave me a VERY dirty look.
