"I start this topic because I hate how much I saw Jon Garland's name come up in All-Star starter talk. And you just KNOW it's because ooooh he's won 12 games. Who the **** cares? His ERA is higher than Jason Johnson's. His BAA is higher than Danny Haren's. Etc. Etc. Etc. He's not even the best pitcher on his own TEAM. He might not even be the SECOND best pitcher on his own team. So why the hell would anyone use his 12 wins as a reason to argue that he should start the All-Star game? Just shut the **** up about Jon Garland. I don't usually snap over one player. But I fail to see how anyone in their right mind would suggest that he start the All-Star game."--http://forum.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=messageboard.viewThread&entryID=3493312&groupID=100110616&Mytoken=20050626201244
I could not believe my eyes when I first read this, sounds like someones a lil jealous of the success of our "5th starter"
