Not sure if this has been done before but what is your record at White Sox games this year. As you can see from my sig fortune has not been on my side this year for me at games. This is so we can decide who should be the ones going to the games.

I'm 8-3 this season. In a strange twist, all three of my losses have been Sunday afternoon games. I gave my Sox-Cubs tickets to my sister today and stayed far, far away from the Cell. Sad to say, it didn't help.

I've seen some good ones:
1. Frank's return and Timo's walk-off single vs. Angels
2. JD's walk-off HR vs. Angels
3. AJ's walk-off HR vs. Dodgers
4. Sunday night rally vs. Dodgers, capped by eighth-inning single by A-Row
5. Opening Day - great game by Buerhle
6. Buerhle's 1:39 gem vs. Mariners
7. Garland shoutout vs. Detroit
8. B-Mac's crummy home debut; slugfest win over KC

I am 15 years old and therefore cannot drive myself yet to games. I live in a family of 9 people and because of expenses can go to usually only like 5-8 games a year. My family is split up between Sox and Cubs. My dad was given tickets to the game at Wrigley so I went along with my brothers. My friend invited me to the game yesterday so I went along with him and another friend. So you see it hasn't really been my choice. I am currently looking for a job so I can save up to go to more Sox games this year. We could probably go to a few more a year regardless but for some reason my Dad although a big Sox fan never is really compelled to go. Hope that explains it for ya.

Game 2: El Duque loses to Arizona:angry:

Edit: Every night game I go to, the Sox lose. Last night game win came on 6/30/2003 vs. the Twinkies. I went 2-2 last year (2 day games, 2 wins. 2 night games, 2 losses), and the year before that, went 4-1 (1-1 in night games, 3-0 in the day).

Eh....i guess it does. I dont think money should be an issue for anyone tho......there isnt very many that i know that cant afford a 3 dollar el ride and a 7 dollar half price ticket.

I dont wanna make this into an attendance issue, but that is one thing im a litte torcked (sp?:redneck ) at. It seems that a lot of sox fans i know can only manage to get to games vs the cubs or yankees. I dont understand whats wrong with a game against detroit or arizona.

Money isn't so much of the issue because we can certainly afford to go to games. It's more because my parents never really feel compelled to take me to games even when I irk them about it. My dad just complains that every game will cost him about $150 even though he doesn't really have to spend that much as you pointed out. This will all change in about half a year when I get my license though.

I am 8-1. Sox won on 4/4, 4/16, 4/19, 5/13, 5/30, 6/17, 6/18 and Friday against the Cubs. Only loss was 4/29 against Detroit.

I am 1-4... yes one and friggin' four!

One Friday night Detroit loss.
Contreras last week
Both Cub losses
My one win we were losing until the bottom of the ninth- AJ's turn back the clock homer.

I have spend basically no time at the cell when the White Sox were winning.

I was probably 1-6 last year, and it's really starting to piss me off. I may have to stop going to games, and aviod the playoffs altogether.

2-1, I believe.

Game One was a loss to the Orioles (Highlight: "Hey Newhan! I got a B.J. Surhoff from your MOM!").

Game Two was the great comeback win over the Dodgers on Father's Day. Easily one of the ten best of the year. (Frank draws the walk to start out the 7th, Dodgers RP looks about ready to cry as the Cell crowd goes nuts.. you knew it was over while we were still trailing. :D: )

And game three was Friday vs. the Cubs. Obviously that one was a GREAT time! I was in the Patio before the game and got to tell Sergio he sucked right to his face, after getting his attention by acting like a typical drunk Cubs fan... he then went out and got shelled, I'd like to think thanks to me.

hoping to make it 3-1, 4-1, 5-1.. etc. go sox :gulp:

15-6.

I've seen some painful losses but losing to the Cubs with them at the Cell (and worse, their fans) hurt the worst. I'm glad I wasn't there for the second loss. I really thought we were going to sweep them after Friday, which was about as perfect a day/game as one could want.

Oh well. Detroit this week.
