Cool stuff. However much I love 8 game streaks, I am happier that we're winning consistently.

Here's some quick math I did this morning.

If you take away our 3, 8-game streaks from the record (as if the games were not played).... we're .530 (26-23).

Now, that's actually amazing!

So what? You can do similar violence to any good team's record. Those three 8-game streaks aren't anomalies, they are part of the team's performance.

What we all want to see is a nice 8-game winning streak starting on October 10th.

I think the point is, even without the winning streaks we're still over .500. You can eliminate 24 wins and we are still over .500. That is amazing to me. I love it

I pointed this out in chat the other day. Just about half of our wins came in those three 8 game winning streaks. 24/50.

its like a reds fan at work, who for some reason aint quite a friendly as he was, said. the sox can lose every game for a month and still be .500
