The crowd: At Wrigley Field, White Sox fans were a big part of the paying audience. The reverse wasn't true at The Cell. The largest crowd of the season was cheering overwhelmingly for the Sox. And, no, the Sox did not seem to be affected adversely by playing before a rare sellout.
IIRC Les "Grobber" Grobstein estimated the crowd at the Wrigley Cross-Town Classic at 10,000 Sox fans, or less. And Les said that anyone who gave higher figures on the Sox fans attendance as being on drugs.
So, Les give us your break-down on the attendance for today's game.
