Brew Crew dodged a bullet in the 7th, Twins had runners on second and third, then a walk to load the bases... and that's where they STAYED!!! :D: :D: :D:

Bottom of 7th, Brew Crew still up 2-0. :bandance:

Brew Crew dodged a bullet in the 7th...
Don't forget about the fifth inning. Rarely has there been such a display of offensive futility: both teams loaded the bases with no outs, and only scored one run between them!

Thank goodness that one run was for the Brew Crew - CLee's sac-fly double play (***?!?) is currently the difference in the game.

Top of the ninth. Cuddyer, Rivas and Strewart due up for the Twins. Turnbos in for the Brewers.

Bad baserunning and the Brewers hit into a DP. Grounder to the second baseman who ran at the runner, the runner should have sprinted back to first, allowing the batter to reach base. Instead, the second baseman tagged the runner and threw to first for the double play just in time. Thus, no other run scores.

The Twins also had a runner thrown out at the plate on a Sac Fly attempt earlier.

EDIT: Double play! 2 down in the 9th.

You'd be there too if your team played its home games in the Hump

Double play for the Brewers in the 9th! I'm tired of rooting for Derrick Turnbow, by the way. Cubs-Twins-Cubs again.
