I don't like pointing fingers at umpires but Hunter has given us fits the past few years.

In that case i'd like to change my guess on McCarthy's pitching line tonight from 6 inn.,2 earned runs,3 walks,7 strikeouts and a win to 3 inn.,8 earned runs,12 walks,0 strikeouts and a loss.
I don't trust those guys any farther than i can throw a piano.

Just stop with the classless umpire c**p.

Lets not make it 1-1 in the 9th, and everything will be ok...

I actually expect everyone to be on their best behavior after all the commotion in Oakland.

gmamfb. The only thing classless was the bull**** two members of this crew pulled in oakland.

MLB agrees with me, and they rarely discipline umpires.

this crew WAS disciplined after the Oakland series, though MLB never comments on the details ...

I forgot to mention it at the time but that crew was working the Nats/A's series I went to a couple weeks back. Hunter was working 3rd, and I just happened to be sitting down the 3rd base line. Who knows if he heard me or not, but I voiced my displeasure about the Sox/A's incident. Wasn't too obnoxious, and kept it clean for the kiddies. It was most theraputic.

I am glad you can sense things on an internet message board. Wendelstadt is the worst umpire in the game and isn't deserving of his job. He has no right to be umpiring our games becuase it is obvious he has a grudge against the White Sox.

This might kinda explain why McCarthy was getting squeezed tonite.

[yeah, I know what "squeezed" means]

Kudos. Wish I could have been there with you. Hunter is the biggest jagbag ump in MLB.

If I'm not mistaken, it was either Wendelstedt or Froemming who, as the third base ump in game two at Oakland, called a phantom balk on Marte, scoring the tying or go-ahead run from third. In other words, they don't have to be behind the plate to cause damage.

I'm actually hoping that these jerk-offs will be on their best behavior this week, after getting disciplined by MLB for their actions last time. The dope squeezing McCarthy last night must've been trying to fit in with his buddies.
