Who all is going tonight? I'll be there. First section behind the dugout but in row 32. Does anyone know how the view is from there? Can everything be seen alright?

Great seats of course! I wish I was going to this series, but damn summer school is eating all my time this week until the Flubs series.

Doing walkup tonight with a group, including my roommate who has never been to a MLB game before. Probably going to go to the cheap cheap seats tonight.

Just from an AP write-up... but this is a good stat...

1B Konerko is batting .636 (7-for-11) with a home run and three doubles in his career against Lima.

I think I'm hitting at least .400 off Lima, and I have never even played in the majors.

Doing walk-up with some friends - hopefully get some decent upper-deckers!

It'll be nice to McCarthy get his first win!

Bleachers in left, row 16. Don't know what seat number. First game of the year as I arrived back in Plainfield a week ago from NY.:D:

That's funny. I hope you're in the lineup today too.

I'm sitting in Section 141, Row 28.

The lower deck's nearly sold out now. I went to the box office an hour ago and couldn't get a Lower Deck Box seat, so I got a Lower Deck Premium seat instead.

I think we're gonna have a pretty good croud there tonight!

Just got the ok to cut out of here at 600pm. I will be sitting in the UD and keeping score-cheering on BMAC and the Sox. It's a great night for a White Sox winner...:bandance:

Doing the walkup. My girlfriend called me at work and said that she wanted to take me to the Sox game tonight.

If she keeps this up, I may just have to shop for an engagement ring. :D:

I was thinking about walking up tonight also. I have a feeling this crowd is going to be huge.

Good crowd last night: 34,345. Really into the game. I was kind of disappointed in seeing how many people were leaving before the game is over though.

I was guessing about 36k. I was really surprised by the 34k figure.

People who left did so at 10pm. I've got no problem with that. The first six innings took a while and it didn't look like the game was going to end until 11 or so. People have to work. And if you have an hour drive to get home to the burbs, well, you get the picture.

I sat next to chisoxfanatic last night, who recruited me to this board. She knows her stuff.

Sounds like you've already made the decision. Or at least are very close.

I'm continuously amazed at how many people go to the game and don't even watch it. That's life, I guess. Whatever floats your boat.

I was one of those that left early...I left after the 6th inning was over. it was going on 10, and I had to drive back to Plainfield, and get some sleep so I can leave the house at my usual time for work (5:30 a.m.). I was sitting next to a family from Milwaukee. They were in town visiting a relative, and decided to take in a Sox game. The dad says he was impressed by the crowd. I told him that considering we were playing the Royals, it was an excellent crowd. I did have to school him on something: He thought I was happy the Cubs were beating the Brewers. :o:
Anyway, it was an electric crowd. I was happy to see the turnout. Hopefully, it ccontinues tonight!

Yeah, we've talked about it, so I may be announcing an engagement here soon. Seems like that's been happening around this site for the past month though. Maybe it's in the air, be careful though, it might be contagious. :D:

As far as the game it was a great crowd that was very into the game, but like most half-price nights you have to contend with drunken frat boy Cub fans. My GF and I stayed until the end. But around 10pm, we saw a lot of families with kids heading out.

No prospects at the moment. Like bunting, dating is largely an issue of timing and a bit of luck. Lately, I've been bunting like Crede :?:
