from the post-game wrap page on whitesox.com:
"Starter Jose Contreras wasn't overpowering, but he kept the White Sox in the game. Paul Konerko and Lenny Harris each plated a run, but it was Aaron Rowand's two-run single in the eighth that capped the rally."

Some writer is really upset over the sox pinch hitting woes.

This dovetails quite nicely into Jeff Brantley dissing our closer, "Chad" Hermanson.
***? How hard is it to get a name correct?

I can udnerstand the confusion about a Harris pinch-hitting. But a Hermanson closing? there is only one closer by that last name in the majors u know....

Jeff Brantley is so in love with all things East Coast...there's a reason why he named Hermanson as 'Chad' (secret love). Soon we'll hear about Mariano Marte and Keith Politte from Jerk Brantley.

"plated a run"? It sounds like a description you would find in a European newspaper.

Did anybody else notice Joe Morgan refer to Cliff Politte as "Cliff Polite" last night?
I love how well ESPN does their homework.
