Thanks to a 1-out homerun by Buck Weaver in the top of the 9th inning in the deciding game, the 1917 White Sox move on to play the #1 seed 1975 Reds in the SimSeries.
Finally, the Black Sox (I know it was 1919, but it's the same team) get a chance to make amends for their dastardly deeds by playing the Reds. This time, we'll win!

Wow, the Eight Men Out vs. Pete Rose and the gang.
I wonder what the betting odds are on this one, eh?

I picked the '83 Sox to Narrowly defeat the '17 Sox in the final series. Yeah I'm a little biased, so what? Screw the '27 Yankees!!!
Has anybody seen the website that started the SimSeries? It's
called whatifsports.com and it's actually quite interesting. You can
simulate games between just about any baseball teams you want.
I just did a series between the '67 White Sox and the '69 Cubs
to determine Chicago's all-time greatest baseball flop. I can pic-
ture the MVP of such a series being awarded a video of "Ishtar"
and a year's supply of New Coke.

I picked the 17 Sox to win it all.I just wish the 94 Sox were in it.If it were not for the strike they would have been.
