I know everyone loves to see the Skyline however what if the Sox put back the extra space w/o seats and put a wall that would cover it. That might make a huge difference about those popups becoming HR's.

my solution to the pop up homer problem tonight is to start hitting our own pop up homers to right tonight

So you want to remake the UD again? I'm going to have to disagree. I think this a solution looking for a problem. Leave the park modifications to the Twins and their air conditioning and the Cubs with their bleacher baskets.

Ok all i'm saying is that the Sox put a black wall(paint Sox Logo's on it if you want) where there is an opening between the roof and the last row. Than put another wall ontop of the roof.

Tell ya what, I will ask God if he can make the wind blow in when the opposing team is up. Then he can make the wind blow out while the Sox are up.

Alright, now I get what youre talking about. I dont think it would do as much as you think where windflow and the ball carrying is concerned. The ball still carried out pretty well before they took out the top few rows of the upper deck and put in the new roof with the little space under the roof. That is, unless, youre talking about one HUGE freakin wall.

EDIT: good idea...im done:bandance:

A wall on top of the roof, isn't that called a ceiling?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember a few years back (early 2000's maybe?) they moved the outfield walls in. They wanted to increase homers or something. Why don't they move them back out to where they used to be?

There was a moat between the fence and stands which is no longer there. The bullpens and seats are right on the fence now.
