This year the 1959 uni is being worn, but other than that one, what past Sox uniforms would you like the Sox to wear? For me, I'd like to see the Red Pinstripes or the 78-81 unis, the blue ones. The almost T-shirt Bill Veek invented uniforms

Yeah, if only they had a reason to wear those though. If they could mix in the occasional championship, then they could go back and "relive the glory days."
They should just do it for the hell of it.

They did that before in 2001, I think it was every Sunday home game they worn the 1917 World Series uniform

There was a thread several month ago with a poll on which throwbacks people wanted to see. I think the 1970 throwback was number one.

I personally loved the 1917 World Series jerseys we wore in 2001. I own one, as do many other people. At every game I go to, I see at least 10 people wearing that jersey. I wouldnt be surprised if the Sox bring it back in some capacity as an alternate jersey. I know MLB let them do it as a special thing to commemerate the 100th AL anniversary, but I dont know if they would let it happen again. Its hard to imagine a team having an alternate jersey full time that uses an entirely different color scheme with a different logo.

Edit: I found the thread I spoke of above. 1959 had the most votes. http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=43669&highlight=throwback

Whichever ones they wore in '77 as the South Side Hitmen. I think they may be saving those for the 30-year anniversary though.

I would look forward to that one, I can't imagine how different the team would be comparing from 2004 to 2007 White Sox, they wont be the South Side Hitmen, they would be the South Side Slap the ball through the hole steal a base, hit and run Men

I absolutely loved those uniforms; favorite Sox uniforms ever, by far.
