My BIL's birthday was last weekend (he's the Cub fan), and my wife found him a book called the "Cub Journal". It was, in essence, alomst a daily/monthly account of the team going back to inception. This thing was as big as an encyclopedia. I was impressed with the BOOK, not the content. I've purchased Helpingstine's books (which are awesome), but is there a book like this on the Sox? Going back to the beginning through a current/recent season?

There's something called the White Sox Encyclopedia and it's packed with Sox history and lore, but it was last published in 1997.

it's not lke that book but "White Sox: The Illustrated Story" is great.

I bought that for my dad's birthday - really nice coffee table book

The White Sox Encyclopedia is great. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

On top of the collection of media guides I have, it is definitely one of my most referenced books.
