White Sox Prospects - Rankings Question

Hello Everyone. I am writing somewhat of a persuasive piece to send to all of my KW-hating friends (some even Sox fans... I am growing increasingly tired of their incessant whining) and need some information. I was hoping I could find it around WSI (probably didn't look well enough) but I couldn't find it.

I was wondering what the BA prospect ratings are for the following players: Brian Anderson, Ryan Sweeney, Josh Fields, Casey Rogowski, Gio Gonzalez, Kris Honel, Sean Tracey, Brandon McCarthy. Also, were these players drafted by KW? By all accounts, I recall that they all were.

I know that there are a few really good prospects in the WS farm system that aren't talked about a whole lot... for instance, Jerry Owens, Matt Smith, Chris Young, etc., that were acquired recently via trade. Does anyone have information as to how these players were acquired? I know Owens was acquired from the Nationals in exchange for Escobar (after he was waived by Cleveland).

Any information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. Also, any web sites with this info would be great so I don't have to bug anyone in the future.

Rankings are pretty darn subjective and some rate them higher based on their level of play and others don't. Sweeney, Anderson and Bmac were all top 100 last I recall.

Put it this way: "KW inherited the #1 ranked farm system and prospect and what came out of it? One major league pitcher and a light-hitting third-baseman?" Despite all the trades he has made, these last couple drafts have really restocked the minor league system in a big way and they will be ranked in the top half of baseball base don the strength of their overall farm system after this season IMO. In fact, I'd be a little surprised if they don't sneak into the top 10...

Chris Young was drafted by the Sox. Bobby Jenks acquired off waivers from the Angels, most of the rest of the legit prospects were drafted.
