He's turning out to be a very effective pitcher for Washington. This season Majewski has a 1.14 ERA in 23.2 innings and a .185 batting average against. Those numbers would look pretty good in the Sox pen right now.

Well good for Gary. I really don't think Majewski would be up with the Sox if he were still here. I mean look at the season Jeff Bajenaru is putting up at AAA. It's one of those coulda, woulda, shoulda things. Who cares?

Once they're gone, they're gone. No use thinking of what could of been.

I'm sure the Scrubbies think Jon Garland would look good in Blue pin-stripes :bandance:

He gone is right, but it is nice to see good pitching come out of the system.

Do you honestly think he would have similar numbers if he was still with the Sox?

He was with the organization 3 different times.

I firmly believe he would not be duplicating that success in the AL. I think the NL completely blows. Look at Glendon "batting practice fastball" Rusch dominate. It's sickening.

Why don't we just go ga-ga over every single player that we have ever gotten rid of? Transactions are a part of the game. Is Majewski having a good season? Maybe. I'm sorry, but I hate threads about players that used to be in the organization. Like someone said before, should coulda woulda...

At about the same time this thread was started, Majewski imploded in RFK Stadium. 2/3 of an inning, 2 walks, 3 hits, 4 runs given up, Blown Save, booed off the field.

Such is the power of WSI.

If only we could get these kind of results every time we talked about a Twins Game.
