You can take the scrub off the team, but you can't take the losing out of the scrub.

Man I wish this guy were still with Minny! We would be up at least 7 games!

I disagree. I think MN actually knew how to use him.

Either that, or let him walk away at the right time (or both).

I think it was a situation where Latroy was comfortable with that coaching staff and that staff figured out his problems as a pitcher. When he got to Chicago larry rothchild just didn't know how to fix him when get got in a funk.

All about the bling. He's getting paid over $4MM as a setup man. Simply put Minny can't afford to spend that much on a setup guy. Especially when they have a farm system which has been punching out power bullpen arms over the last 3 years.

And it took Minny 6 years to figure out how to tap Hawkin's potential. He failed as a starter and closer, over and over.

How Hendry was able to pull that trade off .......still amazes me.

I'm embarrassed now; the Sox seem to be the only team that could never hit off of this clown.

He obviously didn't schedule the required enema to flush it out of his system after leaving the scrubs.

Sadly the cubs got a good first round pick in Aardsma

Right. It's much cheaper to spend $440K on Roidboy Rincon.

Hendry got a great deal for LaSuck Hawkins. I couldn't believe that two quality young pitchers with ML experience. Williams won 10 games last year (youngest Giant's 10-game winner ever) and Aardsma is a power bullpen guy.
