"It brought a tear to my eye," Thomas said. "The fans showed how much they care." - Frank Thomas, talking about the standing ovation he received when he made his first plate appearance.

You can't really ask for a better day for Big Frank's return. Great crowd on Memorial Day, I got chills with the ovation that he got. Just wish his first AB went a little better.

Have you noticed how many people have been referring to him as a Hall of Fame ballplayer? It's about ****ing time he started getting some appreciation.

That was one of my most memorable moments ever at Comiskey.

That was one of my most memorable moments ever at Comiskey.

I was there for #400 and the place was packed. The stadium erupted into a standing O for several minutes. Let's just say I wasn't dry-eyed!

Between that and the Carlos Lee Grand Slam winner against the Cubbies, you can flip a coin...

It's nice that the fans appreciated his career and the work that he did to get back and it's nice that Frank appreciated the fans gesture.

We've known for awhile and it was apparent by the ovation he got yesterday.

Yep. I hope that they remember it when he is eligible.

I was very glad to be there and join in the applause. You deserve it, big man.

All true Sox fans are glad to have you back. The media can ****.
