I'm not sure if this thread was already started but I was wondering who everybody thought should be sent down once Gload and El Duque get back. I'm thinking Walker will be sent down so that's obvious. The other one is a tough call. It's gonna come from the bench so I'm thinking Timo will be traded.

Walker is a given. I'd love to trade Perez, but who want's him?

If I could play GM for a day, Perez, Crede, Shingo, and Visciano (sp) all gone.

Harris and Ozuna have been very solid backups. Neither has really exhibited power, but both have exhibited an ability to hit for decent average (.292 Harris, .263 for Ozuna), get on base at a good clip (.370 Harris and .349 Ozuna), speed and defense. Timo does have two homers, but that's the only thing he has going for him all year. Sayonara Timo.

my vote also goes to Timo. Willie and Pablo have been pretty solid contributors off the bench. Timo has not. I'm with Karno, bye Timo :D:

I still vote to trade him

Yeah everybody is right when Timo comes through with those ninth inning RBIs it is such a drag! Maybe we should trade Timo Perez to the Twins!
Seriously lets not use Timo Perez as the scapegoat it is far too easy for anybody to point at his numbers and laugh. There is a reason he is in the majors. It takes a team to win baseball games and Timo is a great role player for Ozzie.

I voted other....

:everett: "Keep me in the minors unless we're playing the Twins"

I don't know who to vote for on the poll question. I really don't envy the decision makers like Kenny Williams or Ozzie Guillen on who they should send down. I will just have cross my fingers and hope that they made the right choice. Awesome question.

I wouldn't mind seeing Shingo go down but then our bullpen is depleted so I have to vote for Timo. Despite his miracle yesterday afternoon, he just is not that great of a ballplayer. He is extremely clutch and many moments though.

Timo is 0-10 in pinch hitting situations for us, and stinks it up otherwise. One lucky hit doesn't erase his many, many crap ABs, some of which have cost us games.
