I just purchased my first season ticket plan ever this afternoon and was wondering how many of you are season ticket holders yourself.

Partial plans with a friend since 1990.

The partial plan is where its at. Very glad that the Sox offer that weekend package. Next game: Freddy Garcia against the Angels on Monday, May 30th.

Yes, This is my first year and I bought the hit and run weekday games. I did not get front row tickets but I have second row in the bleachers. This is where I met fed ex 4 pasqua since his seats are right next to my seats.

I purchased the Ozzie Plan and will be there next on Monday...I also have a couple more Teacher Nights that aren't even figured into the season ticket plan. Already having been to six games this season, it looks like I will be getting to anywhere between 25 and 30 games this year, which rocks, considering that the previous maximum games in a season has been 4.

Being able to walk to the game for the first season ever does help defray costs, as well as being out of the parents' house and having started my career making real money last September.

I can't wait to purchase those playoff tickets! :bandance:

No, but I might as well. I'm probably going to 15-20 games this year anyways; maybe next year I'll get some kind of season ticket package. I almost got the 13-game package this year, but it's tough to plan which games I'll be able to go to and with whom that far in advance.

Of course, the great thing about living & working in the city is that it doesn't take as much pre-planning to be able to get to lots of games.

Absolutely...PLUS, we don't have to worry about paying the astronomical $17 parking fee by either walking or taking the CTA, so every day's nearly a half price day, since parking is nearly the price of a ticket itself!

I understand that parking at Fenway Park is $100.00

Parking prices are directly effected by supply and demand. Lots of those parking facilities are privately owned, much like at Wrigley, which boasts $40-$50 parking easily. Since Comiskey has its own parking lots, they don't have to charge as much...but $17 is still a lot and tremendously effects the amount of games people can go to if they can't either walk or take the CTA.

Are those 27-game plans what they call the "Grinder" plans?

I had the 20 game plan the first four years of new Comiskey, then never renewed after the strike. But at work, I twisted the arm of our Cub fan owner to get the weekend package to hand out to clients. I'm able to snag a game here and there. I'll probably get an Ozzie package next year now that my kids will be out of diapers.

Between the various ticket discounts posted here and half price night,I practically have a "Minnie plan".

I had a Sunday ticket plan when I was in high school, ending in 1975. When I moved to Wisconsin, I had a plan for the last season (2000) at County Stadium, but I gave my tickets for the Saturday night Cubs game to someone at work because I preferred driving down to Chicago to see the Sox. I also gave rain check Brewers tickets at the end of a season to a friend I met in line waiting to buy Sox ALDS tickets.

My Sox seats were behind the on-deck circle on the third-base (Sox) side in old Comiskey, first row above the walk, which I guess disappeared before the '82 or '83 season.

Now, without a road out of town, I'm a three-day boat ride from Seattle, or rather Bellingham, Wash., gateway to Seattle. But I can read the box scores.

I'm just a yaer outta college so I don't have a ton of money to throw around but what is this grinder package people are talking about? I'd like to get a plan with a few more games than the ozzie plan, how many is this grinder plan have?

This was my first year buying any kind of ticket package. So, for starters, I got the Minnie plan. I probably should have gotten a plan with more games because I've already attended 3 games more outside of my 9 and I know there'll be more.

The one downside to the Minnie plan is that the tickets for each game are all in different sections. I'm sure next year I'll upgrade just for the sake of location.

27 game plan for the third year. Located behind the Sox bullpen.

The same applies to the Ozzie Plan. The smallest plan that you can be assured of the same plan is the weekend season ticket plan.

This is the first year I've ever purchased a ticket plan. I got the Minnie plan. I would have liked to gotten the Ozzie plan, but I didn't feel like I could commit that far in advance to certain days because my work schedule is not always the same. I will probably attend a few games outside of the plan too.

I've got a 27-game plan in the first row of the bleachers in section 161. Unfortunately, for some reason which I can figure out, the Sox are doing away with my Lead-Off plan for next year so I'm going to be out of luck with my location. My games are all Mondays through Thursdays. I heard it wasn't a popular plan, but if they're still going to sell the other two 27-game plans I don't understand why they wouldn't continue with this one.
