Don't worry, Brad. It's only April.

Captain Cheeseburger leaves after getting 26 outs and leaving runners at first and second.

Stewart pops up on the pitch from Miller and the inning is over. Going to the bottom of the ninth...

Twinkies have runners at 2nd and 3rd in the 10th, but there are 2 outs.

Cleveland is an absolute joke. What a disgusting loss. They had the winning run on third with NO outs in the 7th and didnt get it home. They didnt deserve to win that game.

I just hope that Cleveland sucks as much when we face them again. Yes, they took two from the Twins, but they should have won all four of these games. If anyone on the Indians had a pair they would have stepped it up and won.

Guess who else just had runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs and didn't score the go-ahead run.

Barring injuries gang it's going to be a long hot summer. The Sox and Twins aren't going any appreciable distance between each other.

September is going to be very interesting and gut wrenching for fans of both teams.

And the fact that he has been as good as he has been in that role kills me. IIRC, didn't he really suck before putting on a Twins uniform? Was he hurt then? What gives? He puts on that Twin uni, pitches in a plastic bag, and all of a sudden, the guy is a junk-balling All-Star that is reliable as a closer.

Sickening.

I'll be perfectly happy if we can stay 5-6 games up all year long.

Four days erased and the Twins couldn't gain ground.

Meanwhile, the Sox are done in Anaheim, while the Twins lost four games on the schedule against a below-average Indians ballclub.

Advantage White Sox!

The Twins have a brutal July schedule. 7 games against the Angels, 3 against the Orioles, 3 against the Yankees and 3 against the Red Sox. The Yankees and Red Sox games are on the road. 7 token games against the Devil Rays and Royals.

What do you mean token games? Tampa just CRUSHED Oakland. Oh wait, I forgot, Oakland sucks huge right now. :bandance:

That being said, the Sox schedule in June and July is much easier, at least on paper.

August will be a difficult stretch, but the Sox have a real chance to extend the lead before then.

That sweep in Toronto looks better and better by the day. Here's hoping the Jays play as well this weekend as they did against Boston.

No.

In his 2003 season with the Giants, he went 12-4 in relief with a 2.96 ERA and a 9.46 K/9.

He hits the high 90's with his fastball (including 100mph a few times in 2004) and the high 80's with his slider, so I wouldn't characterize him as a junk-baller either.

The year before the Twins got him, Nathan put up very, very good numbers pitching for the Giants. He was on the verge of becomming very good, the Twins saw this and grabbed him.

That's called scouting.
