I tried looking around for this but couldnt find anything. Myself and a few of my friends have noticed that when Big Jon isnt pitching he wears a hat that is waaayy to small for him, I would venture to say several sizes too small. It sits on the top of his head. Is this a superstition or something? Tell me I'm not nuts.

Before anyone responds, I want to be on record as saying this is a very silly and trivial thread. Just plain ol' Curiosity.

yeah its probably his size, just sits on top of his head. plus he wears shades, and wearing a hat with shades can be uncomfortable.

My friends and I all agree it's to prevent him from balding on the top of his head..PK and Crede have bald spots and we're convinced it's b/c they're always wearing the hats.

The thing that confuses me, is it is much, much smaller than the one he wears when he pitches. Its most definetly not the same hat/size. It looks like he straight beat up some little leaguer and stole his hat, but hey, as long as he keeps winning he could wear a sombrero for all I care.
