Since Hermy won't be available tommorow because he's worked 3 days in a row, Who closes tommorow? I'd have to say that Shingo is gonna get the next couple Save OPS. Maybe Marte but only if the situation dictates it.

Neal Cotts! Or maybe LaTroy Hawkins.

He only has something like 2 or 3 CGs in the past few years, but 8 inning performances are nothing foreign to him.

Realistically I think Shingo gets the call if we do not have a substantial lead.

Hermie, he's the man now. The best part is he'll be the one begging to come in for a 4th straight game.

I also think Shingo will get the call in a save situation tomorrow. I think he might do especially well considering Baltimore hasn't seen him as much as some of the teams in our division. Still, Tampa beat him- but I hope he does get a chance to save, just so that he stays confident and successful, and we as fans stay confident in Shingo.

You guys keep getting way ahead of yourselves here.

Let's actually get a lead going into the 9th inning tomorrow. Then we can worry about who closes it out.

I say Shingo. I also have a feeling that Hermy is Closer A and Shingo is Closer B and Marte is Closer C.

Why can't Dustin pitch again tomorrow? He threw seven pitches tonight.

Well it definately depends on if the offense shows up tomorrow or not. Heck, we might even be able to throw Cotts out there tomorrow if the offense shows up.

with a 75% success rate, expecting failure is sillier than expecting success.

Then again, what do we expect from you?

I'd say give Shingo the nod. Ozzie's gotta show him that he still has confidence in him.
