B'ham lost 8-5. Tracey got roughed up. Pollok and Meaux held them for 5.2 IP, but then Lamura completely lost it in the 11th (1 IP, 3 ER, 2 H, 3 BB, 0 K). Young walked and singeld to keep his hitting streak alive. With Owens still on the sidelines, Gonzo lead off and reached 3 times. Sweeney: 2-5, 2B, R, OF assist. Fields: 0-3, BB, E. Rogo: 1-4, RBI.
Kanny won both ends of a double-header. Egbert was outstanding (7 IP, 0 R, 4 H, 0 BB, 6 K, pickoff). He's now 2-1 with a 1.62 ERA. Grant Hansen was shaky in his start, but managed to keep Lakewood in check in a short stint (4 IP, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 H, 6 BB!, 4 K). Perez and Zaleski followed with 3 shutout innings. Josh Hansen was the hitting star (3-4, BB, 2B, 2 RBI). Delossantos went 1-3 twice. Kelly's finally showing signs of life with another HR and a 2B. Cook also homered.
Later today, Diaz will make his season debut for the Knights, and Flores will take the mound for the 'Hogs.
