Why is it dated November, 1999?

And why would Frank Thomas be doing a Jack Palance imitation? Shouldn't that say Jack LaLane?

Does Jack Palance throw like a girl? If so, it's not hard for Frank to impersonate him.

It's a reference to Jack Palance doing one-hand push ups at the Academy Awards
It sounds as if Frank is using his injury as an excuse so he won't have to work as hard to get in shape. And, by the way, when was Frank ever "cut", high school?

If you listen to Schneider, every injured Sox player is doing "great". I'm taking this report with a big grain of salt.

As far as I'm concerned, we shouldn't believe anything anyone says- not even from Thomas. He's as insecure and paranoid as one can be, and the rest of the organization is filled with people who constantly fool themselves into believing anything that brings a smile to their faces.

We will know if Thomas is healthy once next spring rolls around, and it will get here sooner than we think. It's already November 8, which means that we're only about three months away from when pitchers and catchers report to spring training.

Well this contraction mess might give Frank more time to get healthy.
