Does anyone know what the font is on the logo below? (hopefully it showed). I'm a co-captain onf our company softball team & our name is only 3 letters so we're probably gonna use that. Want to make sure I get it as right as possible though, hence the question about the font. If no one knows, I could email the marketing dept I guess, but don't have their email addy.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

Any decent silk-screen place can recreate any design you give them. The issue is whether you can find a guy who will recreate a copyrighted logo, so you need to find a smallish joint. I had some shirts made a few years ago with the Sox logo part of the design, but that store disappeared from Western Avenue.

Eurostile is almost kinda close. Your best bet is to redraw the logo in Adobe Illustrator. If you can't do that, you'r e gonna have to pay somebody else to do it.

Some fonts are copywritten, or at least kept secret, and are not available on Microsoft. For example, Marquette uses a font that is only available for Marquette approved products and I believe the exact color is also. I know this from a friend who works in Marquette marketing.
So, quite literally, that could be 1983 White Sox font.
If I am totally wrong please tell me but I believe I got that right.

You're right, but there are some fonts that aren't. There could be a technical font name for the 83 logo. I haven't searched through the haystack on the Microsoft fonts to see, but it may or may not be there.

Many high quality fonts are commericial and require you to buy them at a cost of around $200 dollars.

If you do find a font that is close you can edit it with a tool like:

Personally I get all my free fonts from here:
http://www.typenow.net

I really recommend the themed fonts:

I just sent a message through the "contact us" link on official page. Hopefully someone will get back to me. I've seen on here that people email Brooks & he's pretty good about responding. Can someone let me know the address for that?

thanks!
