Thanks guys!
Great day here in Chicago...went out to the burbs and took a nice long ride on the Prairie Path in the sun, but best of all...the Sox gave me a winner as a birthday present!
The birthday present from my GF was almost as good: I get on-field access for batting practice on 8/19 vs the Yankees.

Happy B-Day Wilkes. How far out did you ride the Path? Glen Ellyn? Wheaton?

East end of Elmhurst to the Glen Ellyn Library...about 17 miles round trip. Not bad for a fat old guy with a wicked hangover.

Well, I was using the Sox 24-7 record as a reason to drink all these beers tonight, but now I have another!
Cheers and beers!

I mowed the lawn with mine Pat. I had a tough time getting the prostheses on this morning after all of those rum and cokes.
Happy Birthday

Happy birthday, wilkes! BTW, I live about 2 blocks off the Prairie Path in Lombard, so you were in my neck of the woods. (Not that the east side of Elmhurst is another country, but still...)
