NY Daily News ran a story today indicating MLB is concerned about Bonds winding up in jail sooner than later.

Now on the Boston board SoSH a curious thread has started wondering if Bud Selig may have unofficially suspended Bonds for 2005, similar to what many believe was the case with Michael Jordan and David Stern.

I now believe Hank Aaron's record is safe and I wonder if Bonds will ever play again.

Appearantly MLB is just overseeing the government's case looking into Bond's taxes because they are looking into everyone involved in the Balco investigation. I wish I could phrase this better but this is what I gathered from ESPN.
