Between the Trib pitcher poll and this it seems as if we won't be under the radar for long. It's nice to see baseball fans begin to notice us even if the media isn't quite sold yet. Tuesday I was at Lincoln Station for weekly pool with the boys and all of the TVs were on the Cubs game. The good thing is everyone there knows im a diehard Sox fan so they put the game on for me. Next thing you know i'm suddenly surrounded by people cheering on the Sox. Even one of my buddies who is a diehard and works at the bar was amazed. (cause its usually just him and I paying attention to the Sox). It was a pleasant surprise.

Great! Seems like the tides are-a-changing. Now let's stay there for the rest of the year and never look back.

I've noticed a few more comments up here in Evanston about the Sox' great start.

More evidence of it, I play in a men's softball league at Crown Park on Dodge and Main in Evanston, and there were more guys with Sox hats than normal. Now, there are always more Sox hats among the softball players than on the street because the softball players are real sports fans and so, naturally, they gravitate toward the White Sox. But I've seen it even more lately, that people are either wearing Sox gear, or are openly commenting about how great the season's been so far.
