O's are hot, but they're not a hot ticket (http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/bal-sp.vecsey03may03001620,1,1160031.column?coll=bal-sports-columnists&ctrack=1&cset=true)

Orioles have empty feeling at Camden Yards (http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/baseball/bal-osattendance0505,1,1877816.story?coll=bal-sports-headlines&ctrack=2&cset=true)

well the O's took a hit due to the Nationals moving in next door. Also if my team were in the AL East, I wouldnt be getting too excited with Boston and the... well if the yanks remove thier heads from thier asses.

The Nationals have put a huge dent in the attendance.

I know a few people from the DC area that would make the trek to Baltimore a couple of times a year.

Now that the Nationals are there, they don't have to leave town.

Any team that doesn't sell out every single game will have people griping about attendance. This phenomenon is not unique to the Sox.

Jays fans griping about attendance (http://www.bluejayway.ca/forum/index.php?topic=5294.0)
