2005 CHICAGO WHITE SOX

UNDER THE RADAR

Yankees, Red Sox, O's, Cubs get the press- White Sox get the wins......fine by me. Bottom line 20-7

My favorite part of the article:

Playing teams like Kansas City and Cleveland that are struggling to get wins could be a factor in the public's slow embrace of the team.
Of COURSE Kansas City and Cleveland are struggling to get wins. They've been playing the Sox! ;)

Well, KC just stinks. But Cleveland is supposed to be a contender. And last I checked, we played five games against the Twins.

I love how Politte mentioned this quote in the article. Someone said Don Pall used it last night during the game.

Didn't the experts pick Cleveland,Detroit, and Minnesota ahead of our Sox.
I believe our record would show that we beat all of those teams.

Like a drum from a W-L perspective. The Sox are 17-4 against the division this year...

"2006 ... if we win," Guillen said of when the team will earn respect. "Hopefully, Oct. 1 they talk about us. Right now it doesn't matter if you talk about the White Sox. Talk about the White Sox on Oct. 1. That's my goal."

I Liiiiiike it!

I hope Ozzie and the boys keep up this attitude and not get like the other team on the northside. I'm fine with earning respect, cause then that means we've DONE something. :D:
