Ain't that cute, the Expos only season ticket holder makes his voice heard.

Yep.

He must be the biggest Expos mark of all time if he can drive from Wisconsin to Montreal for every home game.

Thats the point. You have to put 2 and 2 together to get the joke.
He didn't drive to Monteal for every home game. And if you've seen the attendence it is obvious. My thought is he was the only guy there wearing that ridicules costume which led me to think he must be a hardcore fan of the Expos. And hardcore fans by season tickets.(In Montreal's case, it seemed he was the only one) SO he went up there and bought season tickets to support the Expos and drove back home. (just my thought)
His empty seat blended in with thousands there, so no one noticed. Now he's bummed. See how my brain works. I can't believe you didn't see that.:)

They had an interview with this guy on the radio.

When he was little, his favorite letter was "X".

He therefore decided to be an Expos fan, despite never living in or near Montreal (or Canada for that matter).

Sanity check time?

The F'in team sold about 13000 tickets for every game but only 4000 showed up which means 8-9000 tickets couldn't be given away. It's not the team, city, or fans...Stadium?
