both have 5 wins?
Yes
both have ERA's below 1.5?
Yes
both play for first place clubs?
Yes
both have given up as many runs as walks?
Yes

But most importantly....

both were traded away from the same team that is in desperate need of some solid pitching in return for players who are no longer on the original team's roster

I thought about this a couple of weeks ago. Could you imagine a rotation of:

Prior
Garland
Zambrano
Willis
Wood

Not only would that be one of the best rotations in baseball, but it'd probably be the best cost per production rotation too.

Replace Wood with that Clement guy.... but I guess you're talking about all farm talent.

There was a thread on this a couple of days ago.

Ex-Cub Pitching thread (http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=49247)

Right now cubs fans seem more upset over losing Andy Sisco in the rule 5 draft anyway.
