10-9 Redbirds over the Reds, STILL the top of the 9th. Score going into the top of the 9th was 9-3 Cincinatti. Incredible.

Cards just scored 7 runs in the 9th on the Reds to keep the game alive. Reds threw up 4 in the 8th and had a pretty good cushion but are now down 10-9.

A lot of teh runs scored with 2 outs. Cards still batting.

I was just going to post about this, to see if anyone had seen that game. Wow. The Cardinals are my 2nd favorite team, so I'm happy they pulled this victory from the jaws of defeat. It looks like that high powered offense is starting to get going again. But I think what this really shows is just how god awful that Reds pitching is.

It's tough when two NL Central teams that aren't from Chicago have to play each other, because in the end one of them has to lose. I like the Reds, but the Cards are just more of a threat to the accursed ones, so we need to give them that cushion.

If St. Louis dominates the Central again, though, the Reds need to rise up and make sure that if the WC comes out of their division, it is them or Houston.

I'm glad the Mets game was postponed, this was a exciting game to watch. Cinci was on the verge of walking away with a win, with 6 run as insurance. Their bullpen was a disaster, they should of left Mercker finish the game. The game was in the bag if it wasnt for Sean Casey bobbling the ball in 3 consecutive routine plays.

I caught the 9th inning. I was puzzled as to how Mark Prior was able to pitch on one day's rest for a different team.......

I truly feel sorry for any Reds fan who had to witness that game. I heard lots of boos, that inning can be summed up in one word, UGLY.
