GREAT!... the biggest game in town called ESPN will now devote at least 20 minutes to 'are the Yankees now back on track?' commentary.

According the Yahoo boxscore A-Rod lined out to deep center to lead off the 8th, and thus looks like he won't tie the RBI record. Anyone see it and how close was it to being gone?

I love how it was against Colon mostly. Fastballs fly really far when someone knows how to hit them. I'm glad we didn't choke on 13 mil for this guy.

Here's what Mr. Smooth Operator said to the AP: "Definitely tonight was one of those magical nights. I've hit three home runs twice before, but nothing feels as special as this, doing it in New York, doing it in the pinstripes."

"in the pinstripes." This guy is so phony and so wants to be accepted as a Yankee. Tool.

By LARRY BROOKSSO the assignment for last night was baseball. Upon receiving it at the end of last week, I began counting. On my fingers, of course.
A-ROD GOES THE WHOLE 10 YARDS
By GEORGE KING

April 27, 2005 - When Alex Rodriguez delivers the performance he did last night it's easy to see why he earns the most glue in baseball.

A-Rod put on a power show last night at Yankee Stadium not often seen, even by a team nicknamed the Bronx Bombers. Full Story (http://nypost.com/sports/yankees/23500.htm)

DLee is going for his own A-Rod performance today at Wrigley. 4-4 with 2 HRs, 2 Rs and 6RBIs. Due up in the 9th.

EDIT: Nevermind. Patterson homers in the bottom of the 9th to win the game.
