Who would you want to whoop on in revenge in 2005 if we make the playoffs?

Yankees or BoSox just to shove it to the East Coast bias on ESPN.

I would like to take the Yankees out in the first round and then the Twins out in the ALCS.

Ahh, but neither are the choices! See the poll.

I chose Seattle because I know people who are fans of that team, and since it's recent enough, they hold that sweep over my head. I am annoyed with that team, and I would like nothing more than to pound them back.

Toronto was a close second, I was in 8th grade then, and I was so upset over it. I was one of the only Sox fans in school, Jordan just retired a week before that, and I thought we were going all the way.

Again, I'm asking for a scenario.....I want you know which team you want revenge on most.

Fine..I will say the Mariners then. It wasn't a fair fight! We were all hurt.

Although I would like seeing Sosa fail on the big stage against us.

BAL-TEE-MO , I would love for the Sox to crush Sosa in the playoffs.

This question assumes that we actually do want revenge on one of these teams from 2000, 1993 or 1983, but I dont think this is really the case. We'd rather beat up the Yanks or Bosox.

Baltimore Orioles, because of Tito "Bleeping" Landrum. I was at that game and Burns deserved a better fate.

It was a tough choice between Toronto and Baltimore. I had tix to game 7 in hand in 1993, but Baltimore hurt soooo much. I picked Baltimore, but hey...as long as the Sox make the playoffs, I don't care who they beat!

Hmmm, really liked the '83 team. They seemed like they might have been the best of the bunch that one year. Be nice to pound Seattle and Toronto though. But I dont have as much ire toward them. Honestly the A's are the team I would love to see the Sox beat the living crap out of in the playoffs. I always have had such hatred for that team since the late 80s. Even though I know there is no playoff history with them I still would love to see them get pounded by the Sox in the playoffs.

I voted for Seattle because it's still pretty fresh in my mind. I still get crap at work because I shed a tear in a bar when game three ended.

I voted for Baltimore, even though I never saw the series. I get depressed just reading about it, and from what I hear they acted like real chodes when they clinched.

Odds are we won't meet any of these teams for a long time, though, unless Baltimore is for real this year (seriously I doubt both BOS and NY will fail to win that division).

I just wish that we'd beat anybody...for once...instead of watching our team clam up and the other jerks end up celebrating.

It's only April. Isn't it a little early to start talking about playoff opponents?

My wish is that the Twins don't humiliate the Sox for a FOURTH year in a row and that the Sox can actually make the playoffs this year.
