Middle of 1st... Lima labored, giving up three hits but only one run.

Santana had to throw a few extra pitches to the Royals lead off hitter after a 3-2 count... but he mowed them down 1, 2, 3.

Santana was easily pitching around an error by the Minny 3rd baseman when he had the Royals baserunner picked off... but they throw the ball away [bounced off the base runner's helmet]... Santana then K's Tony G to end it.

2 errors for Minny.
5 K's for Santana so far.

Lima gives up a one out double... then pitches around it.

Btw, I wouldn't mind seeing the Serfs pound some lumps into the mighty Twins.

K.C. coming up to bat.

Royals threaten, leaving a baserunner on 2B, but Santana slams the door shut.

1, 2, 3 inning... Lima really has settled down [78 pitches - 30 in the 1st inning]. Currently, Minny has a two game losing streak, K.C. has a 5 game losing streak.

1-1 game on a Diaz single! Woohoo!

It wasn't pretty, but the Royals finally pushed one across the dish against the mighty Santana.

Lima seemingly is feeling like Juan Marichal [retires 10 of the last 11 hitters].

Royals up to bat.

Santana doesn't look like he's anywhere close to running out of gas.

Royals go down 1, 2, 3.

Lima get's them 1, 2, 3.

Both Santana and Lima have given up 4 hits tonight... Santana K's the batter to finish the inning [he's got 8 total so far].

Lima is coming out to pitch the top of the 8th.

I appreciate the audience that checked out my half inning recaps... but I'll be switching my MLB.TV over the the SOX/A's game in a few minutes.

Lima pitched great tonight, but other than Lima and Sweeney the Royals suck. 2-1 Twins win.
