Gotta be the first time in history. Any historians?

Actually no, Harry Brechen won Game 6 and 7 for the Cardinals in the 1946 World Series... He started Game 6 and relieved in Game 7 (eerie, ain't it?)

... and flash back to the 1925 World Series and we'll find Ray Kremer of the Pirates winning both Games 6 and 7 against the Senators.

But those are the only three:

Randy Johnson, Arizona, 2001 vs. New York (AL)
Harry Brechen, St. Louis (NL), 1946, vs. Boston (AL)
Ray Kremer, Pittsburgh, 1925, vs. Washington

I'm sure he was there for that Harry Brechen one against the Red Sox.

I've been a Harry Brechen hater ever since October 15, 1946.
