With all of these starting pitchers having outstanding seasons thus far (MAJOR props go out to Garland), who would you want on the bump for a "big game" putting into consideration how they are producing NOW, as well as past experiences that may be beneficial to the "big game" experience?

Right now I'd say Buerhle beause if Garland actually got hit he might lose focus where MB doesn't. Those are the real hot pitchers right now in my book. However, I can see the history of have El Duque out there.

Definitley Buerhle, because he's earned it, and after him El Duque. :gulp:

Gotta say Burlymon. He is solid. I think could pitch his way out of a jam in a high pressure situation, Garland has been fabulous but I still need to see him over the course of the season before I beleive he has truly turned the corner for his career.

Buehrle has to get the nod right now,but those of us who have been singing Jon's praises and cautioning patience feel vindicated.

For those who say Buehrle, I say tonight is a very big game. He is going up against a superstud in Harden. This is the kind of matchup you get in the playoffs - going against the best of the best.

If everybody was rested, I would go Buehrle in game 1, El Duque in game 2, Freddy in game 3, and Garland in game 4.
If we need Buehrle and/or Freddy to pitch us into the playoffs on the last days of the season, I'll start El Duque in game 1 and still feel pretty good about my chances.
