I've never been a fan of the road gray; I know that visiting uniforms are supposed to be drab, but since we're apparently allowed to wear black as visitors, I say do it.

Even if they stop working as a magic charm, they're still better looking.

Yeah. One thing I don't like, for some irrational reason, is when both teams wear alternates at the same time.

Ozzie said last year that he would keep with the black jerseys if they got the team going on a streak. Early in the year last year, we had a little streak going, and he kept with the black jerseys for the duration.

We normally wear a jersey until we lose, but that wasn't the case this time. We beat Minnesota last Monday wearing our regular home uniform, but then switched to the black jersey on Tuesday and have worn it since.

They can wear the black tops at home or away, but they wear the pinstripe pants at home and the gray pants on the road, so, theoretically, this streak may never end! :smile:

First of all the starting pitcher gets to pick the jeresy the team will wear. Second of all maybe they wanted to wear the black jeresy's cuz it has been so cool lately when they are playing. Black and dark color attract and retain heat better so in essence it could keep them looser and warmer.

I agree, i've always really hated the black alternates compared to the other ones (I really like all the jerseys except the black alternates).

Though i'm not going to complain, stick with what works:smile: .
