Came up clutch to win the game.

I had to start something to catch up with Crede.

Not that I'm saying he deserves the PTC, but Uribe DOES deserve an honorable mention.

I challenge this ruling. Bring on the elephant gun!

One (not me) could challenge this, but only on the grounds that no one really earned it. How did we ever pull this one out?

Well, based on the rules though, Rowand is the choice. His hit (which really was super clutch) won the game.

Those rules were written for the former umpire, I don't really use them.

If they don't surrender the lead this one has bullpen written all over it, but ARow clearly is the winner under the current standards.

I definitely agree with the call. I wouldn't have argued a Damaso PTC. He did it in a pretty sloppy fashion though and kind of lucked out, so Rowand still edges him out..

Daver goes with his gut like his favorite White Sox manager.

Ok- I picked Contreras for my PTC with Rowand as my backup. Does Contreras getting taken out after only 3.1 IPs due to injury allow for Rowand to qualify?

I'll never get that case of Hamm's. Or is it Falstaff?

I vote for Marte. Got the win, and saved the game with a nice block and tag off of the AJ passed ball.

Are you kidding? Damaso threw that pitch away on purpose, in an effort to trick the runner into heading home. It worked to perfection! Genius!

I agree with the batman, that since no one really jumps out as having earned it, ARow wins by default.

Though I'd give Dye an honorable mention for breaking up the DP in the 10th. That was absolutely huge.

Actually, it's a leftover Bud Light from inside my fridge. I needed a can to complete the 6-pack.

Also I consulted with the old PTC umpire and he agrees last night's PTC was definitely Rowand.

Mirror, mirror on the wall ...
We don't need no stinkin PTC standards at all,

When it comes to covering your butt ...
We don't need no stinkin' backups either.
