Should be a dynamite matchup on Tuesday night!
Here are the numbers:

Buehrle (vCLE, @ MIN, vSEA, @DET)
3-1 2.61 ERA 31 IP 0.77 WHIP .168 BA 23 SO 6 BB 2 HR

Harden (@TB, vLAA, @SEA)
2-0 0.44 ERA 20 IP 0.98 WHIP .197 BA 21 SO 6 BB 0 HR

I can't believe I get to see only 1 game on TV here! At least it is this one...

Gonna be a good one, I just hope we have better luck than in previous seasons. By the way, get MLB.TV, it's absolutely worth it. Try it for a month.

I'm thinking about it, but I have an iMac and with the new OS coming April 29, I think I will wait and make sure everything is stable before doing so.

Although, I can get Comcast InDemand for $79 for the second half of the season and catch nearly all of the Sox games. That probably makes more sense...

And It's A's Fleece Blanket Night

I'll be out there for the series!

Monday = Garland/Zito
Tuesday = Buehrle/Harden
Wednesday = Freddy

And Wednesday's Day Game is $2.00 Upper Deck!

GO SOX!!!

Any Sox fans making it out to the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, I mean Network Associates Coliseum, or a McAfee Colseum?

I can't wait for all three....YESSSSS!

I tried getting that and every single game was blacked out in my area, it stinks!

Even a Billy Beane supporter like me can find that funny.

It seems like Buerhle is getting all the other team's aces. If he wins a lot of those match-ups that should help his Cy Young chances. He better get the Gold Glove this year.

Harden has been on fire lately. We hit him well last year but you never know what he's got now. Zito's been really struggling, though I'm sure a Sox West Coast trip is the antidote for him. I think Kirk Saarloos is throwing the last game. Garcia has pitched well in Oakland before but it's hard to tell how it will pan out.

Oakland is really struggling at the plate right now. With the exception of Kotsay and Ellis they are scuffling like crazy.

No, it doesn't. You either can see the games on TV where you're at or the billing zip code was in the Chicago market.

Oakland has absolutely no right handed power. I kinda wish Buehrle wasn't going then - I'd love to see that team stuck facing Freddy and the two Cubans.

That said, we know how this team plays on the West Coast. I hope they don't repeat some of the historical flops we have had in the past out there.

Actually, if they have no right-handed power, that bodes well for Mark, doesn't it? He can better neutralize Chavez, Durazo, etc.

And yeah, it's time to win some games out on the coast.

Should be a good game, but the SOx should win big because we all know Billy Beane lucked into these pitchers and Harden is a fluke.

He better get the Gold Glove this year.Buehrle would help his own cause if he doesn't airmail any throws to first base this year. He has a tendency to hurry throws on bunt attempts and turn them into doubles.

I realized this about 30 min. after making the post, while in my car. I was assuming someone would call me on it....my bad... wasn't thinking clear in the morning.

Buehrle should mow down the As.

RedOzone,

I'm gonna make it to the Monday night game and I'm bringing a few other Sox fans that I go to school with along with me. I'm really excited cuz it'll be the only time I get to see the Sox in person until June.

A Garland/Zito matchup doesn't seem to be particularly advantageous to us, but if both keep throwing the way they've been throwing so far this year I think we'll be alright.

Now let's break that West Coast curse!

Fellow Bay Area Sox Fans:

This is what really sucks: The Sox play the NL West this season. The only ballpark they do not visit is- yep, PacBell/SBC.

I'd give my left ventricle to see the Sox play at PacBell Park!!

Barring unforseen circumstances, my brother and I should be there Tues. night. My boss' father-in-law has a contact in the A's front office, so we might get tickets gratis, but I won't know until Monday. :(:

How do you FOBB's reconcile rooting against the Sox for 6 games per year? I've always wondered about that one. The games do count after all.

I have had this date marked on my calander since I moved to San Francisco 4 months ago. Can't believe I lucked out and get to see Buehrle at the 1 game I am going to. I am going to San Diego's game on June 11th, hope I can get as good of a matchup then too!:)

I already feel better about playing in Oakland without Jose Valentin at SS. He didn't bring his A-game (sorry JerryM) to A's games out there.
