After that hot start he had in spring training what is he up to? Same old Joe or is he swinging the bat well?

That's too bad. Looks like Joe just wasn't cut out for baseball.

I guess Joe should have stayed with football as a quarterback, who knows where he could have been now...................

The Bears are in great need of a backup.

At some point this is going to stop being a joke...Borchard and the Bears are made for each other...desperate.

Is Joe injured? I haven't seen Joe listed in recent boxscores? Maybe he's injured or he's being benched 'cos he can't hit.

More than likely the second option.

Nobody should ever play football. Borchard signed a big bonus to play baseball and added years to his life by avoiding the NFL.

Well, QB isn't exactly the same as being a RB or lineman.

I'm going to see the Knights vs. the Norfolk Tides this weekend on Saturday and Sunday...will be my first chance to see Joe (if he's playing). I'm sitting in box on the third base side, and I'll probably be the only Sox fan in that area.

Missed seeing B-Mac, though...he pitched last night. Bummer.

I'm fairly certain he'll be out of the lineup, but you should be able to see Brian Anderson and Pedro Lopez and Spidale.

Sweet...it should be a lot of fun, if we're not rained out...having a "Nor'easter" right now.

Not too sure about Spidale and Lopez either. Spidale is back on the DL. IIRC, Harris is not due back until Monday, so I figure Lopez will still be with the Sox this weekend.

You should get to see Ben Davis and Greg Norton, though. :o:

At least I'll get to see Jon Adkins. The game was rained out last night, so there's a double-header starting at 6:05 pm. Needless to say, since I have my master's final exam due before midnight tonight, I won't be staying for both games. Will be back out tomorrow for the finale. Will post pics of B-Mac and others if I can grab them.
I'll be on the lookout for big Joe!
