I questioing the timing of this trade. We had Baldwin going tonight, and for some reason KW decided to ship JB out before he could start tonight. Im wondering why. I have a few possible reasons why he did this now.

1. KW is worried that if JB does horrible tonight teams will lose all interest or else the price will drop significantly.

2. JB is injured and KW wants to get rid of him before he does something worse to himself.

3. KW is setting himself up for another trade, and was looking to get prospects to throw in to another trade.

Im confused as to why he chose to deal JB before he started tonight. Any other thoughts?

How could his price get any lower than what Kenny sold him for?

We could have only got 2 prospects, or 1.

Yep number one, he traded him before the Indians could whip his ass.

It's true they would have.

Once the Dodgers realized they were close to getting him, they probably didn't want him to start and risk injury.

This is from my previous post:

This is the pitching staff's ERA for the month of July:

Rocky Biddle: 8.24 (24 ER in 26.2 IP)
Kip Wells: 3.71 (12 ER in 29.1 IP)
Mark Buerhle: 3.33 (10 ER in 27 IP)
Sean Lowe: 3.33 (13 ER in 35 IP)
James Baldwin 7.80 (13 ER in 15 IP)

Yep...before he can go any lower....he's outta here!!!
