First Ozzie Guillen blasts Frank Thomas' attitude, then a day later falls all over himself apologizing. This is where a person with less character would make a lame joke about Big Hurt feelings.

Hey, you know, I heard that not only do the White Sox talk about clubhouse atmosphere, but they also play baseball.

Sport's Illustrated says that the Sox are #2 for the second week in a row? What a coincidence... I've been saying that Sport's Illustrated is "#2" for 780 weeks in row. :redneck

That's pretty high, to be honest. I'm surprised the Tigers, Indians and Athletics are so low. The A's pitching has been top notch (except Zito) and the Tigers are crushing the ball.

I think the Tigers need a healthy dose of Garland and Buehrle.

Who cares? Rankings don't mean a thing, especially in baseball.

And yet, somehow, if the Sox were 22nd instead of 2nd, you would be making some snide comment about how bad this team is.

Holy water! During spring training, Dusty Baker sprinkled Mark Prior's inflamed right elbow with water blessed by Pope John Paul II. Really. "I just hope," said Baker, "that my sinning doesn't negate the effectiveness of the water."

I loved this assessment of the Evil Ones. I'm surprised the water did not turn into steam immediately upon contact. Is Rusty Dusty trying to start a new curse?

Double high five followed by a six step handshake.
